Group leaders - are you struggling to think of something different for your next members outing? Why not take a look at what Epping Signalling Museum can offer? We welcome Group Visits from a wide variety of groups, not just railway enthusiasts! The tour touches on the history of the tube (the American infuence!), its safety systems, its tragedies, its world leading technological advances and so much more. It also covers some of the history of Epping, including the coming of the railways back in 1865. The Museum is unique in being the only signal cabin open to the public on the entire tube network. If you were looking for an interesting and unusual place to visit - you've just found it!!
Although we only routinely open to the public on Saturdays, with enough notice it may be possible to open on a day of your choosing, subject to enough of our volunteers being available.
Group Visits can be arranged for daytime visits or if it suits your group better, we can also arrange evening visits. All visits must be pre-booked and can be for parties of 6 as a minimum and up to around 20 people. To provide a bespoke experience, please contact us to discuss your requirements.
