Thank you for your interest in becoming a new member, or for renewing your existing membership. Your subscription will help our totally unpaid Volunteer Members to achieve the twin aims of preserving a heritage London Underground train as well as the maintenance and renovation of the Epping Signalling Museum - a former LU signal cabin and static shunting locomotive.
What benefits do you enjoy by being a member?
Membership starts at a very modest £20 a year (or around 5p per day!!). It will give you a password to access to the 'CHT Members' page of this website for details of forthcoming meetings, eg the AGM, as well as any available minutes from such meetings. There are more practical things too: as a member you get to attend and have your say at the AGM & are able to vote; your CHT membership includes membership of Epping Signalling Museum where you could become a volunteer; your subs are helping CHT to preserve a piece of Tube history; you will receive the annual edition of the Cravens Bulletin plus in future, subject to suitability, negotiations & London Underground depot access etc, you may even get to help restore the 1960's Cravens Unit itself!
If you wish to sign up as a new member or renew your membership, we are able to accept payment via Bank Transfer, cheque, postal order, and now also by PayPal*. Membership is a minimum of 1 year, starting on 1st January and running to 31st December of that same year. New members joining in the last three months of the year could benefit from up to 15 months membership in their 1st year.
Membership rates are shown on the form below - select the one you require. Please make sure you complete your personal details and provide a valid email address. When you have checked all the details given, click the 'Submit Details' button. We will then send you an email with details of how you can pay for your chosen membership. Please check your 'spam' folder if our email from CHT & ESM Membership (Cravens Heritage Trains & Epping Signalling Museum) hasn't arrived in your inbox within 10 minutes. Thank you.
* we pay fees on PayPal payments, so Bank Transfer or cheque/PO are the preferred options
